Need a Hand with Errands?

Need Support at Dr. Appointments?

Is Paperwork or Mail Piling Up?

Need Help Getting Organized at Home?

Would Some Friendly Company Help?

Managing these details alone can be difficult and overwhelming.

Finding time for home logistics, technology support, and appointment accompaniment is hard when you’re managing your own life too. An extra set of hands for non-medical advocacy and everyday tasks isn't just helpful—it’s how you find genuine peace of mind for your whole family.

Support You Can Feel Good About

I know how important trust is when someone is coming into your home or spending time with someone you love. You’ll always know who is coming to visit — it’s me, Courtney.

Vulnerable Sector Checked

I have a current Vulnerable Sector Check, so families can feel confident about who they’re welcoming into their home.

First Aid & CPR Certified

I’m certified in First Aid and CPR for an added layer of reassurance during our time together.

Fully Insured

The Adopted Granddaughter is fully insured for the services I provide.

Why I Started The Adopted Granddaughter

Growing up, I was incredibly close with my grandparents.

Some of my favourite memories are the simplest ones—running errands together, helping around the house, sharing stories, and simply spending time together.

Those moments taught me how much the little things matter. I created The Adopted Granddaughter to offer older adults and their families dependable, personal support that makes everyday life a little easier.

Ways I Can Support You

Companionship

Conversation, coffee, walks, games, outings or simply spending time together with a familiar face.

Help Around the Home

Light household tasks, organizing, decluttering, furniture assembly and help getting a new space settled after a move.

Errands & Everyday Tasks

Groceries, pharmacy runs, returns, picking things up and tackling the little jobs that can pile up.

Appointments & Admin

Help with scheduling, paperwork, mail, calendars, making phone calls and staying on top of appointments.

Technology Help

Patient help with phones, tablets, email, video calls, online accounts and other everyday technology.

Vacation Check-Ins

A familiar, reliable person to check in on your loved one while you’re away and help you feel more at ease.

Kind Words From Families & Our Community

A few thoughtful words from a family I support and members of the community who know my work, values, and commitment to older adults.

Featured family review

“Courtney has been helping my mom since early May. She is reliable, hardworking, and very respectful of boundaries. She completes many tasks in a short period of time while still taking the time to sit, chat, and build a lovely relationship with my mom. We are so happy to have found her.”

Let’s Start With a Meet & Greet

Every person and family is different, and I think the best place to start is simply getting to know each other.
My complimentary Meet & Greet gives us a chance to chat about what you’re looking for, what would make life a little easier, and whether The Adopted Granddaughter feels like the right fit.
There’s no pressure and no obligation — just a conversation.

Who are you seeking support for?
When would you like to begin support?

Not Sure Where to Start?

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
A complimentary Meet & Greet is a simple way for us to get to know each other, talk about what would be helpful, and see if The Adopted Granddaughter feels like the right fit.

Best,

Courtney
